Ja, er (und Christian und Arne) war(en) da. Was soll ich sagen? Ich bin ziemlich sprachlos. Es war der Hammer, ich freu mich schon auf heute abend und die noch anstehenden Konzerte. Gerade haben wir die Tickets fuer heute abend abgeholt, in fuenf Stunden treten Idlewild wieder auf die Buehne.

Genauer Bericht folgt natuerlich, wenn wir wieder in Deutschland sind.

das hier sagt eine bekannte von mir über ihr erstes pearl jam konzert:

So I went to the concert at Irvine last night and all I can say is...OH MY GOD.

Pearl Jam absolutely AMAZED me, live. They played a GREAT setlist, and the crowd was just out of control. And not in a bad way. Everyone was SO into it. And I was super happy cause they threw in Of the Girl, Immortality and You Are, on top of ALL the songs I wanted to hear live since it was my first time seeing them. Their version of Crazy Mary was AMAZING last night, and Mike's solo on RVM kicked ASS. OH! And at Irvine, they have a curfew--I think at 11:30, so when they came out to do the second encore, and Ed was about to start I am a Patriot, he was like, "well, we just got told that if we keep playing longer than another 15 minutes, we're going to have to pay a $5,000 fine for going over the curfew. So, enjoy!" Everyone went crazy. Oy. I'm officially a PJ freak now. I'm going again tonight and Thursday...
