PEARL JAM LABOR DAY ANNIVERSARY WEEKEND CONCERT AT ALPINE VALLEY

Serving as the band's only U.S. shows of 2011, Pearl Jam's Labor Day anniversary weekend concert at Alpine Valley (September 3rd and 4th) will include performances by fellow artists and friends including The Strokes, Queens of the Stone Age, Mudhoney, John Doe, Joseph Arthur, Glen Hansard, Liam Finn and special guests to be announced.

 

Tickets go on sale starting Monday, May 23rd for the Ten Club and Saturday, June 4th for the general public.

PEARL JAM CANADIAN TOUR

Pearl Jam will tour Canada from September 7th through 25th -- hitting Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa, Hamilton, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver.

 

Tickets for Pearl Jam's Canadian tour go on sale Friday, May 27th, with the exception of the Montreal concert, which goes on sale Saturday, May 28th.

Ich freue mich übrigens tierisch auf den Film. Foo Fighters Back an Forth hat da richtig Lust gemacht. Ich glaube sogar fast, dass der PJ Film noch besser wird. Sicherlich anders (glaube eher nicht, dass sie Dave interviewt haben um ihn nach seiner Meinung zu fragen) aber bestimmt richtig schön sentimental.

The captivating documentary gives fans and audiences an intimate first glimpse into Pearl Jam’s journey culled from more than 1,200 hours of rarely and never-before-seen footage, over 24 hours of recent interviews with the band, as well as live footage of their spellbinding concert performances.

Pearl Jam Twenty will enjoy a unique, simultaneous worldwide theatrical release in select cities and venues in September and thereafter will roll out in an accelerated fashion. Abramorama, headed by Richard Abramowitz, who steered the theatrical campaigns for Anvil! Bin mal sehr gespannt auf die Laufzeit der Doku.
Für den Kino Release dürfte diese bei 2 Stunden liegen.
Von mir aus können die einen Extended Cut über 4 Stunden anbieten, genug Material ist ja vorhanden.

Nach dem Fixer-Fiasko bleibt zu hoffen, dass Crowe nicht alles verlernt hat, was ihn früher ausgemacht hat.

Das Buch mit 256 Seiten ist die US Ausgabe aus dem Hause 'Simon & Schuster'.
Der Wälzer mit 384 Seiten ist eine UK Veröffentlichung aus dem Hause 'Atlantic Books'.
Eventuelle inhaltliche Unterschiede interessieren mich aber auch.
