Ich habe eben auf www.tunespoon.tv ein Mini Interview und Konzertausschnitte dieser Band gesehen."Fuck U" gefällt mir sehr gut.Obwohl mir der Anfang so verdammt bekannt vorkam.Irgendein NIN Song fängt ähnlich an.zumindest bilde ich mir das ein.
Kann mir irgendjemand mehr über die Band erzählen? Woher sie kommen,wie lange es sie schon gibt usw.

ich glaube das sind franzosen. bin mir jetzt aber nicht sicher. auf jeden haben einige leute hier mal ziemlich für die geschwärmt, kenne nur weniges, aber das gefällt mir sehr gut. errinert mich zum teil an pink floyd :)

waren im letzten sommer aber mit dem aktuellen album noise unplugged on tour.
das berliner konzert auf cd ist umwerfend.
offiziell haben sie wohl auch ein album zur tour veröffentlich.
im dezember wollten sie nach dresden kommen, haben aber vorher ihre bandbesetzung geändert/mussten proben und sind jetzt wieder mit sängerin unterwegs um ihre alten alben auch live zu bringen.
die sind mir etwas zu 'elektronisch'. das ist auch der grund, warum ich dann nicht ins so36 nach berlin gefahren bin....wäre sicher kein vergleich zu dem unplugged konzert, welches ich so liebe.

ich habs ja genau umgekehrt gehört. dass sie halt unplugged einige stücke nicht so gut rübergebracht haben, wie in richtiger bandbesetzung weil ihnen einfach die synthesizer und so zeugs gefehlt hat. gerade fuck u kann ich mir akkustich überhaupt nicht vorstellen, lasse mich aber gerne belehren

Hab bisher nur gutes von ihnen gehört und bin auch sehr neugierig. Aber leider mangelt es mir immer an Geld und unsere lieben Musikgeschäfte im Umkreis haben nie was von denen.

The news you've been waiting for is here at last: Archive will be hitting the road this autumn for series of 27 dates across Europe. These shows are sure to be a spectacle, as the band will perform their latest opus, Controlling Crowds in its entirety.

It's been two long years since Archive were last on tour and so we are very excited to announce that the Archive collective will return to the road later this year for a series of 27 shows across Europe. The journey will begin on 19th September in Brussels and criss-cross the continent before the final show in Utrecht on 24th October.

ONTROLLING CROWDS PART IV AND THE COMPLETE EDITION: NOW AVAILABLE TO PRE-ORDER
Archive will release the conclusion to their Controlling Crowds opus, Controlling Crowds Part IV, on 19 October, via Warner Music. On the same day, a special package containing both volumes of the set will also be released. The Controlling Crowds Complete Edition Parts I - IV features unique artwork and will only be available for a limited time.
Both items are now available to pre-order from ArchiveOfficial.com. The collective have has begun to make promo appearances for the new album, performing several acoustic sessions and interviews for Paris radio stations. These appearances will air close to the album release, so stay tuned for more details.

Mittlerweile findet man das neue Album im Netz. Es ist wie immer beim ersten Mal reinhören sehr gewöhnungsbedürftigt. Das ist aber ein gutes Zeichen, denn so ging es mir mit jedem Album. Die neue Sängerin find ich klasse. Ich freu mich schon auf das Konzert in Wien.

New album, new tour and three new singles.
Well, they say good things come in threes. Therefore we are delighted to announce the release of our new album ‘Restriction’, a massive European tour and three new singles simultaneously released today with accompanying videos.
New album ‘Restriction’ features 12 tracks produced by our long time collaborator Jerome Devoise. The album is due for release on the 12th of January on our very own Dangervisit label via [PIAS].
The first tasters from ‘Restriction’ are the three singles ‘Black And Blue’, ‘Kid Corner’ and ‘Feel It’. Why release three singles simultaneously? As Darius says…
“Our aim was to make an album where each track was as strong as the one before it, and having done that we didn’t want to put the focus on to just one “single”. Ideally we’d release every track off the album individually, putting out three singles at once will give people a better picture of the full scope of the album.”
“Also it’s a very un-Archive thing to do, which is obviously half the appeal!”

We will also be touring the UK and Europe throughout 2015. Kicking off in Amsterdam on Feb 20th, we will be screening our Axiom film each night before our own live set, a double dose of visual and aural Archive!
