Atlantic City, June 29, 2005 – Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa and Electric Factory Concerts are proud to announce that Pearl Jam will perform two concerts at Borgata on September 30 and October 1, 2005. Tickets for both shows go on sale Saturday, July 9th at 10AM. Indie, punk female trio Sleater-Kinney will open.

Pearl Jam was one of the key groups responsible for popularizing alternative music in the early 90’s. Hailing from Seattle, the band released foot stomping anthems that made them rock legends overnight. Throughout their recording career, Pearl Jam have sold more than 60 million albums worldwide and established a large and loyal fan base. Pearl Jam fuses the riff-heavy stadium rock of the ‘70s with the grit and anger of ‘80s post-punk, without ever neglecting hooks and choruses.

Pearl Jam is Matt Cameron (Drums), Jeff Ament (Bass), Mike McCready (Guitar), Stone Gossard (Guitar), and Eddie Vedder (Vocals/Guitar). The band has shared the stage with The Rolling Stones, The Doors, and The Who and is well known for its energetic, dynamic and varied live performances. In 2000, the band began releasing “official bootlegs” of its live shows in an effort to increase the quality and decrease the price of bootleg CDs; they have sold millions of these official bootlegs to date. vielleicht fuer irgendwelcher durchs spielen im casino reichgewordenen, die sich so ein event mit kaviar und champagner von einem exklusiven black jack tisch in ruhe angucken wollen, weil sie im grunde ihres herzens ja doch alternativ sind.

Unglaubliche Preise,

wenn man bedenkt, daß diese Band vor ein paar Jahren gegen TM geklagt hat, weil die Preise ihrer Meinung zu hoch waren. Erinnert doch arg an die Entwicklung hier in Deutschland.

Aber die Bude wird ratz fatz ausverkauft sein, denn allein im Großraum NY/NJ soll es bis zu 50.000 10c Mitglieder geben und das Borgata hat nur 3700 Sitzplätze. Man sollte mal die nächsten Tage bei EBAY vorbeischauen.
Ich tippe auf 400 $.

das ist ja nun ne special location und die hoehere kategorie wird schon aussergewoehnlich bleiben, hoffe ich jedenfalls.
die untere kategorie ist ja im mittlerweile "normalen" bereich.
und man muss bedenken, dass es sich ja um us$ handelt. also in euro alles noch wieder weniger, aber natuerlich ist das trotzdem ne menge geld und echt ziemlich teuer

die preise find ich nicht ok. v.a. nicht bei der bandgeschichte. das muss hinterfragt werden.

We made a big effort to reserve these Ten Club tickets at the lower price rate because we want you there! Only $50 plus applicable service fees per ticket! Since Pearl Jam is playing a casino, we are sticking with the gambling theme, and have made this opportunity a Ten Club ticket lottery. Please follow the instructions below to enter the lottery. We will notify winners before the public onsale, so if you don't win you'll have another shot at buying tickets when they go on sale to the masses, July 9th.
Since this is a lottery, there are federal rules we must follow … so, if you answer no to any of the following questions, then you are not eligible to enter the lottery drawing.

In the subject line of the email, please type: "ATLANTIC CITY, BABY!" In the body of the email, indicate the date of the show you wish to attend, your full name, billing address, daytime phone number, credit card number (V/MC), and expiration date. You may enter only once for each show. Duplicate entries will be disqualified. Remember to tell us which show you want to go to … if you don't include this info, your entry will be rejected. You may enter once for each show. Since the Ten Club tickets are for general admission floor tickets, seniority for seat location does not apply.

We have a limited amount of tickets, so we plan to do this quickly, which is why we are asking for your payment information upfront. Please don't enter if you are unsure if you will be able to make the show.

We will randomly select the winners on July 6th, process the credit card information you provided, and send out a ticket confirmation letter via email letting you know how and when you will receive your tickets. If you don't hear from us before the public onsale on July 9th, then you should probably think about getting your tickets from, ahem, that other ticket outlet (Ticketmaster) or the Borgata box office.

There will be no refunds or exchanges for these tickets. And as usual, if you are caught reselling your tickets for more than face value, we will be sad and we will have to revoke your future ticket privileges with the Ten Club.

Official Rules

This is a drawing to be eligible to purchase two tickets to either the September 30, 2005 or the October 1, 2005 performance of Pearl Jam at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, NJ. The price of each ticket is $50.00 USD plus applicable fees and taxes. Limited quantity of entrants will be selected by random drawing to purchase the tickets. This drawing is void where prohibited. No purchase is necessary to enter, but winning entrants will not receive tickets – winners are eligible only to purchase tickets at the stated price.

Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old and a registered member of Ten Club as of June 15, 2005. Employees of the Ten Club, Pearl Jam and its management company are not eligible to enter

Entry: To enter you must send an email with the words "ATLANTIC CITY BABY" in the subject line and include the date of the show you would like to attend, your full name, billing address, daytime telephone number, credit card number (V/MC) and expiration date to the following address: tickets@tenclub.net. Entries will be deemed to be made by the holder of the email account sending the entry. Only one entry per person will be accepted. Your participation constitutes your acknowledgement and acceptance that you agree to these terms and rules of entry. Deadline: To be eligible for participation, entries must be received by 5:00 Pacific Time on July 5, 2005. Chances of winning are dependent on the total number of entries received.

Notification: Winners will be selected on July 6, 2005 and notified once the credit card transaction is completed. Winners will be contacted at the email address stated on their entry.

Claiming Tickets: The tickets made available for purchase by winners are not transferable and not for resale. Winners will receive confirmation of their ticket purchase and will be required to pick up their tickets at the venue on the day of the show. Valid photo I.D. will be required to collect tickets.

Seat Selection: For the purpose of this lottery, Ten Club, LLC will be allotted a portion of tickets for the venue capacity. Ticket plots reserved for Ten Club, LLC winners will be highest priority after venue-specific ticket holds which are bound by contract. Member number and longevity in the fan club are invalid for this ticket opportunity. Seat selection for winning fan club members who comply to purchase tickets with Ten Club, LLC will be for general admission on the floor.

Sales and Refunds: Payment for tickets can be made with Visa or Mastercard only. All sales are final. If the event is cancelled, rescheduled, or the venue is closed for any reason, you will be updated via email as soon as information becomes available. Upon cancellation of an event, refunds will be issued for the face value of the ticket to the credit card used for the purchase. Any service charges incurred will not be refunded, to cover processing fees expended by Ten Club, LLC. No refunds will be issued for unclaimed tickets.

Reselling: Tickets purchased through Ten Club, LLC are intended for personal use only. We strictly prohibit the reselling of any tickets purchased through Ten Club, LLC for more than the purchase price. If you are found reselling, trading, or brokering any tickets purchased from the Ten Club, LLC we reserve the right to cancel these tickets and any other tickets purchased from Ten Club, LLC. Your Ten Club ticket privileges will be revoked, with no chance to purchase Ten Club tickets in the future. We reserve the right to investigate all suspects that may be in violation of this policy

Publicity: By participating in this drawing, you agree that the Ten Club, LLC may use your name and hometown for publicity and advertising purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.

Der Preis von 95 Dollar hat mich jetzt auch umgehauen.Hoffentlich bleibt das einmalig.Ansonsten nehme ich ihnen so einiges nicht mehr ab.Das kratzt dann doch ein wenig an ihrere Glaubwürdigkeit.Ich kann für meinen Geldbeutel nur hoffen das die Preise bei einer möglichen Deutschlandtour moderater ausfallen werden.


Edit: Ich seh gerade beim Ten Club kosten die Karten nur 50 Dollar(lesen sollte frau können  ).Das ginge ja dann noch in Ordung.Und was ist mit den 95 Dollar? Ticketmaster?
